Located at the foot of Mont Blanc, Chamonix is a lively town throughout the year, busy with all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts. It is arguably the best mountain resort in the Europe with impressive off piste, breathtaking scenery and a fantastic nightlife.

The resort is host to some of the world's steepest, most challenging and most scenic skiing and boarding and is superb for experts. Needless to say its major draw back is its unsuitability of a lot of the ski area for beginners and intermediates, although Grand Montets offers some wider cruising runs and small beginner areas can be reached by the bus service. Unlike our other resorts it is a large town based in the valley and the different ski areas are reached each morning by public bus. The bus serves the four different ski areas local to Chamonix: Grand Montets, Brevent, Le Domaine de Balme & Les Houches.

Our accommodation is situated in the ever popular Chamonix Sud which is fast becoming the best place to be in the town as it is where the better bars and clubs can be found. All our apartments are supplied by Maeva and France Location, have full kitchen and bathroom facilities and sleep between 4 and 6 people. The accommodation is situated within a stones throw of the bus stop, the ski hire shop and a large supermarket.

Accommodation:

France Location Chamonix Sud: The apartments are located around the "Edmond Desailloud" pedestrian area with numerous bars and a ski hire shop. The central location in the resort means you are just a few steps away from the shops and the Aiguille du Midi gondola.

All apartments have a kitchen area equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, mini-oven, oven or microwave, and dish washer in some apartments. Bathroom and WC. Balcony in some apartments.

1 bedroom apartment for 4 people
(25 to 30 m²) Living room with a sofabed or two single sofabeds. Bedroom (sometimes separated from the living room by a partition) with a bunkbed or a double bed. (some have a mezzanine).

1-bedroom apartment for 5 persons
(30 to 35 m²) Living room with two single sofabeds and one pull out bed. 1 bedroom separated from the living room by a sliding partition with 1 double bed.

1-bedroom apartment for 6 persons
(38 to 40 m²) Living room with 2 one-person sofabeds. Bedroom with a double bed closed off by a sliding door and a cabin with a bunkbed.

Maeva La Riviere: The residence with its wooden facades is located in the district of Chamonix Sud, 300 m from the Aiguille du Midi cable car and 5 minutes from the resort centre.

All the apartments have a small kitchen equipped with a minimum of 2 hot plates, refrigerator, mini-oven or microwave oven, dishwasher (for 1-room apartments or more), electric coffee-maker, Balcony, Television, Bathroom with toilet.

Studio for four people (approx. 25 m2) Living area with 1 convertible sofa-bed (sleeps 2) or 1 pull-out bed. Area with 2 bunk beds. Small kitchen equipped with a minimum of 2 hot plates, refrigerator, mini-oven or microwave oven, dishwasher (for 2-room apartments or more), electric coffee-maker. Balcony. Television (additional charge) in all apartments. Bathroom with toilet.

1 bedroom apartment for six people (approx. 36 m²) Living area with 1 convertible sofa-bed (sleeps 2) or 2 sofa-beds. Bedroom with 1 double bed. Cabin with 2 bunk beds. Small kitchen equipped with a minimum of 2 hot plates, refrigerator, mini-oven or microwave oven, dishwasher (for 2-room apartments or more), electric coffee-maker. Balcony. 2 bedroom apartment for eight people (approx. 38 m²) Living area with 1 convertible sofa-bed (sleeps 2) or 2 sofa-beds. Bedroom with 1 double bed. Small bedroom with 2 bunk bed units. Small kitchen equipped with a minimum of 2 hot plates, refrigerator, mini-oven or microwave oven, dishwasher (for 2-room apartments or more), electric coffee-maker. Balcony. Television (additional charge) in all apartments. Bathroom with toilet.

How do I make a reservation?

Prices for our packages can be found on the Package Prices page. If you wish to book one of our packages please call on 0845 680 1503 or email graduates@onthepiste.com with your resort choice, date and number of people. We will confirm availability, set up an online holiday for you and email you a unique holiday code. Each person in your party can then log into our site using your unique code, choose their required options and pay for the their holiday. When you make a reservation you will be given a minimum number of passengers. To confirm the booking you will need your minimum number if passengers to have paid a £90 deposit within 7 days of making the reservation. The full balance of all holidays will be due 8 weeks prior to departure unless you book within 8 weeks of departure when the full balance will be due 7 days from booking.
