Just a ten minute funicular ride from the valley town of Bourg Saint Maurice, the awe inspiring view down the Tarentaise Valley is worth the visit alone. The domain local to Les Arcs is 200kms in total and is one of the most varied areas your are likely to find. Fabulous tree-lined runs descend into the outlying villages of Vallandry and Villaroger. A huge basin of steep pistes and natural gullies surrounds the purpose built Arc 2000 with easy access to the Aiguille Rouge glacier where one of Europe’s longest black runs and the infamous speed skiing piste can be attempted. Add to this the wide cruising moterway pistes above Arc1800 and you have a truelly unique experience. For those that want to look further a field you can upgrade to a Paradsiki pass which includes access to La Plagne via the incredible Vanoise Express lift. The upgrade can be purchased for the entire week or, as we would recommend, a one day excursion to the Bellecote glacier. All of our accommodation is in Arc 1800, the most popular choice of destination for the younger end of the market. We offer apartments throughout the village all of which are similar in standard and due to the compact nature of the resort you are always close to both the slopes and the resort facilities. Accommodation:Residences Charvet: We can offer apartments in a number of residences within the Charvet area of the resort. All of the residences have comfortable apartments close to the shops and facilities. All of the apartments are within 200m of the nearest piste. Each apartments exact layout can vary between residences but the general equipment is the same. All apartments have a kitchenette (oven), bathroom, generally separate toilet, and balcony or veranda. Studio for 4 people 1-bedroom apartment for 5 persons 1-bedroom apartment for 6 persons Ruitor and Thuria Apartments: The Ruitor and Thuria residences are both located in the Charmetogger area of Arc 1800 offer close access to the main pistes and Transarc lift and within a couple of minutes walk from the main village centre. All the apartments have a kitchen area fully equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator (oven or grill in most of them). Bathroom with a bathtub (sometimes a hip bath), WC separate in some apartments. 1 bedroom apartment for five people Approx. 30 m² : Living area with 1 sofa-bed + 1 pull-out bed + 1 folding wall bed. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. Balcony. How do I make a reservation?Prices for our packages can be found on the Package Prices page. If you wish to book one of our packages please call on 0845 680 1503 or email graduates@onthepiste.com with your resort choice, date and number of people. We will confirm availability, set up an online holiday for you and email you a unique holiday code. Each person in your party can then log into our site using your unique code, choose their required options and pay for the their holiday. When you make a reservation you will be given a minimum number of passengers. To confirm the booking you will need your minimum number if passengers to have paid a £90 deposit within 7 days of making the reservation. The full balance of all holidays will be due 8 weeks prior to departure unless you book within 8 weeks of departure when the full balance will be due 7 days from booking. |
