Tignes Val ClaretPistes:300kms | Resort:2100m | Top Point:3550m | View Piste Map Val Claret is the highest of the Tignes villages situated at 2100m, the resort was erected with ease of slope access firmly in mind. Although its may not be as pretty as its neighbour Val, the quickly accessed terrain local to Tignes makes it the favoured destination for many experienced riders. No where else in Europe do you get such a wide combination of slopes and back country such a short distance from your doorstep. Within 15 minutes of leaving your apartment you can be at the top of the Grande Motte Glacier, the ‘eye of the needle’ above Tignes Le Lac or the world cup run into Val d’Isere. Huge improvements in the lift system have been made across the Espace Killy and this is especially prevalent in Tignes where you are whisked about by a rapid modern lift network. Although not as large, the quality of the terrain in the Espace Killy is more than a match for the Three Valleys. The village is very compact and you can walk from one end to the other in less than ten minutes, most facilities are within a two minute walk of each accommodation. As with the village the apartments in Tignes are very compact, and you will have less space per person when compared with other resorts. All of the accommodation we offer is either two or three star rated and has doorstep skiing. For those that have a little more to spend we can offer the 4 star MGM Ecrin des Neiges. Accommodation:Belambra Borsat IV: Located in the heights of Val Claret, the residence “Le Borsat IV” looks down on to the resort. Equipped with “New Generation” comfort, your apartment offers a welcoming atmosphere, tasteful decoration and all modern facilities. All apartments have a kitchenette with electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker, vacuum cleaner, bathroom with bathtub and separate WC, with the exception of the studios which have a bathroom with shower and WC. Studio for 4 people 1-bedroom apartment for 5 persons 1-bedroom apartment for 6 persons Odalys Chalet Club: At an altitude of 2300m in the Val Claret area, the residences are near the funicular which will take you in just a few minutes to the Glacier de la Grande Motte . They are situated in different buildings, between 100 and 500 m from the shops. All the apartments have a kitchen area fully equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator (oven or grill in most of them). Bathroom with a bathtub (sometimes a hip bath), WC separate in some apartments. Studio for four people (approx. 18²) 2 beds in entry, 2 beds in the living room, Kitchenette, Shower and Toilet. Odalys Rond Point des Pistes: In the Val Claret area, the Residences are near the Grande Motte funicular. Shops and facilities, ski lifts and the skiing school are betwen 50 and 200 m away. The apartments are all fully equipped with kitchenette (oven, dishwasher for 6 pers upwards and in most of the studio cabine apartments), bathroom or shower with toilet and television with supplement. We will confirm availability, set up an online holiday for you and email you a unique holiday code. Each person in your party can then log into our site using your unique code, choose their required options and pay for the their holiday. When you make a reservation you will be given a minimum number of passengers. To confirm the booking you will need your minimum number if passengers to have paid a £90 deposit within 7 days of making the reservation. The full balance of all holidays will be due 8 weeks prior to departure unless you book within 8 weeks of departure when the full balance will be due 7 days from booking. |
