Val d’IserePistes:300kms | Resort:1850m | Top Point:3550m | View Piste Map Val d’Isere is arguably Europe’s premier winter destination; historically a traditional farming village any development in the resort is strictly controlled to ensure it maintains its picturesque qualities. Its high altitude (1800m) and geographical situation are a major plus point and are what create a snow-sure micro-climate. When in Val d’Isere you are only one lift away from being above 2500m, unlike most other ski areas the Espace Killy allows you to stay above this height for the majority of your day. The combined ski area is 300kms and boasts two snow parks and two glaciers. Dramatic improvements to the lifts at the Val d’Isere end of the Espace Killy means that you can now ski from Le Fornet to the far corners of Tignes in a single morning. It is important to note that the official piste grading in Val is markedly stiffer than you will find elsewhere. For blue, read red. We can offer a good range in quality and location of accommodation in Val d’Isere. Val is situated round one main high street based between two satellite villages, Le Fornet and La Daille. The very reliable and free Train Rouge bus service runs throughout the day and night and will carry to your required destination. We will confirm availability, set up an online holiday for you and email you a unique holiday code. Each person in your party can then log into our site using your unique code, choose their required options and pay for the their holiday. When you make a reservation you will be given a minimum number of passengers. To confirm the booking you will need your minimum number if passengers to have paid a £90 deposit within 7 days of making the reservation. The full balance of all holidays will be due 8 weeks prior to departure unless you book within 8 weeks of departure when the full balance will be due 7 days from booking. |
