Val Thorens Trumps Whistler

So unless you’ve been living in a cave recently you’ll have noticed that everyone’s talking about HOW MUCH SNOW THERE IS IN THE ALPS! After a nail biting start to the season, our minds have been blown with the best start in 5 years. And it’s still snowing! Les Arcs has more snow now that it had for the whole of last season, and in some resorts there’s been a record 285cm of snow fallen in the last 2 weeks alone.
 
And guess what -  there’s only another 95cm forecast for the weekend! Looks like that all important base for the season is here. And then some. Not even the mighty resort of Whistler can get close to the amount of snow that OTP favourite Val Thorens has at the moment. Blue skies on the way early next week too. Dreamy.
