Chamonix

Located in the Mont Blanc Valley, Chamonix boasts access to three main ski areas plus a number of smaller areas all connected to each other by a free local bus service. In total you will have access to 600km of piste. 90% of the piste’s are based above 2000m and therefore the ski area is extremely snow secure, this is further backed up by Mont Blanc’s historically large snow falls. Chamonix is a really happening town and has a fantastic number of bars and restaurants with an extremely vibrant and lively atmosphere.

Best for: the Aiguille Rouge off-piste area, Ice climbing, view of Mount Blanc, McDonalds in the village, pro riders, high altitude
