Les Deux Alpes is one of the few resorts in Europe that can boast all-year round skiing on its Mont de Lans Glacier – at 3600m, Europe’s highest and largest skiable glacier.

Aside from the glacier the resort has an incredible range of terrain for skiers and boarders of all levels, with the large majority of the skiing well over 2100m. This sunny resort is renowned for having one of the best-conditioned snow parks in France, with great kickers, boarder cross and an awesome half pipe. The 2 Alpes lift-pass now also includes access to La Grave, which has a well-deserved reputation for being an off-piste haven; even the most demanding advanced skiers and boarders will be entertained for a week on these powder fields. You can also go all the way into La Fée for some hardcore blacks – though not for the feint-hearted – and plenty of lovely reds and blues for the intermediates. Even beginners can enjoy the incredible mountain scenery as there are great gentle blues on the glacier itself, so you’re not restricted to nursery slopes. Après ski kicks of at 3pm each day at the purpose built venue Pano Bar. Expect all the usual ingredients of smoke machines, table dancing and live DJ's to carry you into the evening.

Only one word of warning, because the village itself is based at 1650m, skiing right into the village in early or very late season can be tricky and really depends on the snow, but there are plenty of lifts if not.

The village also has a fantastic atmosphere for soaking up the sun for après ski and is filled with shopping-centres, lively bars, restaurants and clubs for people of all tastes. We offer a range of 2 and 3 star apartments throughout the village. Unlike most other resorts the actual village itself is relatively large, so depending on where you stay, it could either be 2 or 20 minute walk to the lifts and the village’s amenities. There are shuttle buses of course too, but these aren’t always the most reliable – so be sure to choose the accommodation according to your priorities.

Restaurants, Bars & Clubs

Les Deux Alpes’ main club. It has great atmosphere, is a good size and even has dancing poles and podiums. Drinks are normal alpine club prices at about 7 euros for a cocktail and 5 euros for a pint.

What this bar doesn’t have in capacity it certainly makes up for in atmosphere! With over 60 different types of rum to choose from and a pirate theme to the bar, we can guarantee that you will not be leaving here quickly.

There is nothing more than the owners of this place love than a massive and slightly out of control party! A warm and welcoming venue, with incredibly friendly staff, this is definitely one of the party hotspots of Les Deux Alpes.

THE après venue in resort, Pano bar kicks off at about 3pm each day for two hours of smoke, live DJ’s and dancing on tables. This independent venue has a double level terrace overlooking the L2A valley and all the ingredients to provide epic partying at the end of the afternoons!

Located near to the Muzelle residence, this pub offers fantastic burgers (really, try one) and a large range of beers. Large screens also showcase a lot of live sport, so if you have a match you want to catch over the week, go and have a chat with the friendly bar staff.

Great bar and great atmosphere – most nights you’ll have people dancing on the tables to the live bands. People from all nationalities having a good time. It’s also a restaurant/grill and boasts a great sun terrace.

Good chilled bar, though can also get very lively in the evenings with guest DJs. It’s also a Tex Mex restaurant and has an internet café too.

International Party Bar. Ooo Yar! Especially good if you are a big group. There is a hot tube in the bar and things do tend to get a little out of hand...
